You may request that we correct or delete your Personal Information if it is inaccurate, irrelevant, excessive, out of date, incomplete, misleading or obtained unlawfully.

To exercise this right, please complete the form available on our website or contact our Privacy Officer at privacy@fairprice.co.za.

All prices displayed on the Fair Price website are in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT, unless otherwise stated.

We reserve the right to:

• Correct any pricing errors on the website or in-store
• Cancel an order placed at an incorrect price and issue a full refund
• Limit quantities on promotional or high-demand products
• Update product availability without prior notice

Product images are for illustration purposes and may differ slightly from the delivered item.

We accept cash, EFT, credit card and other payment methods as indicated at checkout or in-store. Online orders require successful bank authorisation before they proceed.

Fair Price is not responsible for delays caused by your bank or payment provider. Until payment is confirmed, we may hold or cancel the order.

Lay-by purchases are available in-store only. A minimum deposit of R50 is required to open a lay-by. Lay-bys are interest-free and must be paid in full within 12 months of opening.

Goods remain the property of Fair Price until the lay-by is paid in full. Failure to complete payment within the agreed period may result in cancellation and forfeiture of deposits as permitted by applicable law.

Standard delivery typically takes 3–5 business days to your front door within our delivery areas. Delivery dates, areas and costs are shown before you complete checkout.

Full payment must be received before dispatch. You or an authorised adult must be available to accept delivery. Failed delivery attempts may attract additional charges.

Refunds and exchanges are handled in line with the Consumer Protection Act. Unused items in original packaging may be returned within 7 days of purchase with valid proof of purchase, subject to inspection.

Opened, used, damaged or incomplete products may not qualify for a refund or exchange unless they are defective. Credit notes may be offered at our discretion where a cash refund is not applicable.

Always retain your proof of purchase for appliance warranty and refund claims. Televisions and major appliances must be inspected immediately upon receipt for transit damage or defects.

Warranty claims for manufacturing faults will be assessed according to the manufacturer’s warranty terms and applicable South African consumer law. Cosmetic damage reported after delivery may not be covered.

Keep your proof of purchase at all times. A valid till slip, invoice or order confirmation is required for warranty claims, lay-by queries, refunds, exchanges and order follow-ups.

Without proof of purchase we may be unable to process your request.

Mattresses carry a 6-month warranty against manufacturing defects. Bases carry a 14-day warranty. Soiled, stained, burned, cut or otherwise damaged items are excluded from warranty cover.

Please inspect mattress and base sets on delivery and report any defects promptly with your proof of purchase.

You may cancel an order before confirmation at no charge. After order confirmation, a handling fee of up to 10% of the order value may apply, as permitted by law.

Cancellations of lay-bys and special-order items may be subject to different terms as communicated at the time of purchase.

New customers who register may receive a welcome offer of 15% off their first furniture order or 10% off their first appliance order. Offers are valid on full-priced, in-stock items only and cannot be combined with other promotions unless stated.

Fair Price reserves the right to amend or withdraw welcome offers at any time. Terms of each offer will be set out in the welcome e-mail.
